The Best Intuition Quotes to Make Your Day Better

Do you often find yourself doubting your intuition? You may get these thoughts and feelings but push them off to the side because you don’t want to believe them. While this is a common thing for people to do, trusting your intuitive side is important. If you can become more intuitive, you can transform your life for the better. If you need a bit of inspiration, check out these inspirational intuition quotes that will make your day.

“Follow your instincts. That’s where true wisdom manifests itself.” – Oprah Winfrey.

If you weren’t sure if you should trust your instinct or not, no one says it quite as well as Oprah Winfrey. If you’re following your instincts, that gut feeling that you get inside you, you’ll become wiser for it. Your instincts will lead you down the right path, allowing you to make better decisions and improve your life with time.

“I believe in intuitions and inspirations… I sometimes FEEL that I am right. I do not KNOW that I am.” –Albert Einstein.

Albert Einstein describes intuition like a pro. Sure, you can’t always explain why you feel a certain way or why you believe you’re right about something, but you know that you can feel it deep within yourself. It’s not easy to explain to other people who aren’t as intuitive as you are. Your intuition can inspire you and let you know that it’s alright to make changes or do something to better yourself. When you have a good feeling about something, it’s for a reason, so don’t let that feeling slip away. Don’t let fear of failure keep you from following your instincts.

“A good artist lets his intuition lead him wherever it wants.” – Lao Tzu.

When you’re trusting your intuition, you’re becoming a better version of the person you were just a day ago, a week ago, and even a month ago. As humans, we’re constantly evolving. However, we often let fear keep us from doing things that could change our lives for the better and lead us on the right path. Whether you’re an artist or not, you’ll succeed if you allow your intuition to take the lead. Your intuition can lead you to paths that you never thought you’d explore, but it’s all worth it in the long run!

“Never apologize for trusting your intuition – your brain can play tricks, your heart can blind, but your gut is always right.” – Rachel Wolchin.

As Rachel Wolchin says, you shouldn’t have to feel like you need to apologize for trusting your gut instinct. If something feels off, there’s a good chance that it’s off for you, and that means you can avoid the situation for the sake of your wellbeing and mental health. The heart is blind sometimes. Even the brain can make you believe things that aren’t necessarily true. However, that intuition that you feel from within… It’s never wrong. This is one of my favorite intuition quotes.

If you’re having a day full of doubt about decisions you’re making or feelings that you’re having, these quotes should make your day better. Never feel bad over trusting your instinct, even if it means making an unexpected decision. Your intuition will guide you on the right path. What are your favorite intuition quotes?

You Can Improve Your Self-Esteem

Self-esteem is a psychological concept that refers to a person’s overall subjective sense of personal worth or importance. Knowing who you are and where you stand in your perspective establishes your self-esteem. It is a way of determining how much a person values, accepts, appreciates, or likes themselves. It plays a significant role in your motivation and success throughout your life. Doubts about your capabilities always hold you back from achieving all you desire, which is called low self-esteem.

Self-esteem was first articulated in David Hume’s writings back in the 18th century. He demonstrated the importance of valuing and thinking highly of oneself because it acts as a motivator, allowing people to reach their full potential. Knowing, appreciating, and respecting your potential can inspire you to take on the challenges and push your limits beyond your imagination.

Humans require appreciation and acknowledgment, but it only helps if you think positively about yourself. Here are some helpful tips that enable you to boost your self-esteem:

Forgiving Yourself

Humans are prone to make mistakes, not once but repeatedly. What’s worse is that you start to project them upon yourself, as if you are destined to make mistakes. This is one of the biggest reasons why people have low self-esteem. Therefore, you must forgive yourself for all your mistakes and understand that you can always make up for them. Moreover, your forgiveness has to come from within; nobody else can do it for you.

The feeling of forgiveness brings a sense of release, and we start to feel free from the burden of guilt on our hearts and minds, which makes us think that we should be punished for our actions. It allows us to let go of the growing anxiety and live a life of liberty, thus boosting our morale. Self-forgiveness leads to a peaceful mindset, which ultimately leads to positive thoughts.

Therefore, if you want to be free of your guilt, you must start by forgiving yourself. It brings you the priceless freedom that you may not have experienced until now. And, to live a life of grace, mercy, and compassion, you must begin with yourself.

Avoiding Negativity

We are surrounded by many negative people and negative thoughts that cloud our minds and make us think poorly of ourselves. To avoid negativity, you have to identify the circumstances that trigger negative thoughts about yourself. For instance, there is a crisis or unforeseen situation at home, school, or work, and you are being blamed for it. This will cause you to think lowly of yourself and also blame yourself for everything that has happened.

The next step is to delve deep inside yourself and examine your feelings about the circumstances above. Once you have a clearer view of the situation, you will stop blaming yourself and tell yourself to stop feeling bad about what happened. You can think and act positively – it just takes a bit of conscious effort to do so.

Your thoughts may be based on logic and facts, or they could be completely irrational. Either way, through introspection, you will be able to get a broader view of the situation, and this will lead you to consider other possible reasons for the mishap that you are being blamed for. When your internal peace is in question, nothing you do is wrong or unjustified, be it cutting out toxic people, or coming clean to your loved ones.

Improving Yourself

Some things in life may be impossible for you to achieve, as we all have our limitations, and everything happens for the best. So, rather than pondering over what you can’t handle or control, how about investing your energy in the things you can change or make better. This is all a part of self-discovery or exploring yourself. The purpose of this is to discover what you are good at and how much potential you have.

Once you are on the path to self-discovery, things start to become clearer for you, and you no longer experience failure. Best of all, you learn how to keep going without quitting, which is one of the most important things to do. For instance, kids who do well in math are considered smart, but they have always been bad. Does that mean you are not smart? Not at all. Maybe your passion always lies in acting, so why not join the drama club and do what you love? Once you start doing things that you love and make you feel better, it skyrockets your self-esteem and makes you more confident.

Being Grateful

Without gratitude in your life, you don’t realize all the good things you have in your lie. You have to be grateful for the small things and the big things you enjoy in life, for life itself, for your loved ones and friends who support you, and for each moment you are alive. Most of all, be grateful to yourself for making it this far.

Through gratitude, you will be able to think positively and feel better emotionally by channeling your resources and strengthening your optimistic goals. Your brain recognizes patterns that help it interpret all of the information it gets. You will start noticing the abundance of good things in your life, and it will make you an overall positive person with high self-esteem.

You will feel thankful and eventually happier. Feel grateful by knowing that humans don’t even have food to eat or water to drink and be motivated by the ones you feel have more than you. Self-esteem stems from knowing that you have enough.

This is all we have on how to improve your self-esteem. The important thing to remember is that you shouldn’t be so hard on yourself. You can run, jump, reach out and do whatever you want. You may also encounter hurdles in between, but that doesn’t mean that you are a failure.

Ways To Save Money On A Tight Budget

There’s no doubt that we all want to earn lots and lots of money. While some people work hard and ultimately achieve their dream of financial wellbeing and wealth, others don’t seem to make it big in life. What’s even more important than making money is saving it because even if you don’t earn a lot, you can still build a nest egg to fall back on or utilize on your hobbies and passions.

If you’re looking for ways to save money on a tight budget, then you’re on the first step of financial success. Here are some of the best tips that can help you make saving money a part of your life.

Don’t Overspend on Groceries

One of the most significant expenditures that people make every month is on groceries, and while they’re an essential component of your lives, most people tend to buy lots of non-essential items that they can simply do without. One of the best ways to save money on a tight budget is to watch what you spend at the grocery store and curb your temptations.

One way to do this is to make your grocery list and stick to it to not put any unnecessary products in your shopping cart. Secondly, also make sure that your stomach is full when you’re shopping for groceries. Studies show that when people are hungry, they get easily tempted by the junk and unhealthy foods they see in supermarkets.

Also, don’t stock up on foods and groceries because the chances are that most of it might go to waste.

Get a Cheaper Cell Phone Plan

Another way to save money on a tight budget is to reduce your current cell phone plan. You might be shaking your head already, but most of the time, you don’t even consume all of the data or minutes that you buy, or you just use them so that they don’t go to waste once the expiry date has reached. Cell phone companies come up with new deals now and then, and you can ask your service provider to hook you up with a better and cheaper plan.

Sell Unused Items

If you look closely around the house, you’ll find dozens of things that are simply lying there and gathering dust because you haven’t used them for more than a year. So, why not sell them and make some extra cash? Plus, clearing out the clutter inside your home also allows you to distress and keep the house clean.

You can make use of online marketplaces where people sell or trade used items. Simply take good photos of the stuff you want to sell, and upload them with clear information about the product. In no time, your house will be clear, and your wallet will be a little heavier!

Focus on ‘Needs,’ not ‘Wants’

If you’re saving up to buy a new appliance, cell phone, or car, or have a necessary expense that requires a lot more money, then it’s time for you to separate your wants from the needs and put your non-essential shopping trips in the background. You’ll instantly notice that you can save a great deal of money this way.

Apart from helping you save money, this method will also help you determine what you should spend on and what you can live without.

No More Eating Out

No matter how enticing or tantalizing those burgers look in that restaurant banner outside your window, you have to resist the temptation of eating out when you’re on a tight budget. A major portion of our expenses goes towards eating at restaurants and hotels with friends, and most of it is because of peer pressure.

So, start cooking your meals and eat at home. Not only is it an excellent way to save money on a tight budget, but it’s also healthy and rewarding. Moreover, you can learn to cook anything nowadays, so why not try out home-cooked gourmet dishes?

Stop Using Credit Cards

One of the biggest causes of all our unnecessary spending is credit cards because they allow us to buy anything we want, even if we don’t have any money at the moment. People who have impulsive shopping tendencies tend to instantly pull out their credit cards whenever they see something they like, even if they’ll regret it later.

Credit card usage also comes with many interest payments, which can keep climbing if you don’t pay your bills on time. Hence, you should do away with credit cards and focus on spending wisely.

Set Aside Savings First

90% of people make this mistake: they start spending the money on essential and non-essential stuff whenever they get their paycheck. Once the end of the month approaches, they’re left with little or no money. Then, they lament that they can’t seem to save money.

A famous investor said, “Savings is not what’s left in your account at the end of the month. It’s what you set aside at the beginning of the month.” Using this principle, decide on a fixed amount to transfer to your savings account at the start of every month.

This amount can be as little as 1-2% of your monthly income and can even go up to 20%. This way, you won’t be tempted to spend this money on anything else.

Buy Used Stuff

If you can sell your used stuff, you can also save a lot of money by buying used stuff instead of new and branded products. It can be something as small as a watch, to something as big as a car! Nobody cares if you’re using an older model of the latest phone or if your TV has a few scratches on its side because you bought a used one. At the end of the day, you’ll be the one who will benefit from the savings.

This concludes our list of the best ways to save money on a tight budget. We hope you’ll be inspired to implement these ideas into your daily life and start saving money for emergencies or any sudden expenditures. Moreover, you’ll also experience a boost in confidence and self-esteem when you have hundreds or even thousands of dollars in your savings account.

How Do We Use Intuition

Do you ever get the feeling that you know something is going on, but you can’t quite put your finger on it? You might get bad vibes from someone you’ve just met or feel like someone is doing something behind your back.

You’re probably wondering why you get these instinctive feelings and what you can do about them. The reason behind these thoughts and feelings that you get is your intuition.

What Is Intuition?

Intuition occurs when you get a strong feeling over something, but you don’t have a conscious reason behind it. As an example, you may feel connected with someone you just met.

Your intuition could tell you that this person is your soulmate, and you end up clicking with them right away. On the other hand, your instinct may tell you that your partner is cheating on you.

After going through the phone or hiring a private investigator, you may find out that your intuition tells you the truth. Some people are amazed at what their intuition tells them because it’s often right.

How Can Humans Use Intuition?

We can use intuition to protect ourselves from others and to guide us when dealing with different situations. If you’re getting a bad feeling about going somewhere or doing something with a friend or family, don’t hesitate to let them know that you can’t go.

You can listen to your intuition. Even if nothing wrong ends up happening, you’ll feel more at ease knowing that you didn’t do something that made you feel anxious or nervous.

You can use your intuition to judge a person’s character. While you may still want to get to know a person on a deeper level, if your intuition tells you that someone doesn’t have the best intentions, you can avoid them and avoid the pain and frustration they might have brought into your life.

When you listen to the voice inside your head that tells you to do something or not to do something, you’re following your intuition without even realizing it.

Why Are Some People Better at Using Their Intuition?

Some people are naturally more intuitive than others. They’re capable of picking up on things that the average person doesn’t notice or experience through feelings.

There is a belief that those who are more intuitive developed the skill through past lives and are now using the gift to their advantage in their current life.

While not everyone believes that, it would explain why some people have a stronger intuition than others. Even if your intuition isn’t as strong, it doesn’t mean you can’t become a highly intuitive person.

You’ll need to spend more time meditating and connecting with your inner-self to use your intuition better.

We use our intuition for many things. It’s common for people to listen to their intuition when they connect with someone or feel like something terrible will happen to them in a specific situation.

You can become more intuitive by relieving your stress, meditating more often, and opening up to connect with your soul mind.

How to be a More Productive Homeschool Mom

Productive homeschool moms recognize the need for structure and routine. While every child learns differently, homeschooling children is all about developing the best productivity habits to ensure each child gains the education they deserve.

Today I’m sharing some tips to help homeschool moms be more productive with their homeschooling time. These tips will help you go from unorganized and frustrated to productive and happy in no time!

Focus on One Thing

The most productive homeschool moms have come to realize that multitasking doesn’t quite work. The best hack I can tell you is to focus on one thing at a time. Make a list of the top three important tasks each morning. These tasks will be whatever lessons you truly desire to cover each day.

Remove all distractions while you’re working on each task with your children. This means putting your smartphone in the other room, turning off the television or radio, and making sure the area is distraction-free so you can focus on each task one at a time with your children.

Embrace The Word No

It’s easy to get consumed with all of the options to cover as a homeschool mom but you can only handle so much being one person. Learn to embrace saying no to things that your family determines isn’t a priority in the homeschool curriculum.

Sit with your family, including the children, and discuss what everyone needs and wants to learn this year. Be okay with telling your kid no if something isn’t going to fit in with your current homeschool schedule. You can always pencil in ideas for the next year’s homeschooling sessions.

Nail That Morning Routine

The most productive homeschool moms have their morning routine nailed down! That means they have an established wake-up time that allows them time to enjoy a cup of tea, read some literature, and prepare mentally for their homeschool day.

You’ll need to make a note of what activities or practices help you be the most productive person. This might include a brief morning workout, a cup of coffee, or reading a chapter in your favorite book. Write down your morning routine and remain firm about practicing this ritual every single day.

Don’t Neglect Yourself

Another habit of highly productive homeschool moms is that they know when to pause for self-care. They build a self-care routine into their schedule so that they’re always working with a full bucket. Make a list of things that help you relax and feel complete.

This could be reading a book, taking a bath, spending ten minutes sitting on the front porch, or something else that helps calm your mind. Any activity that helps you feel peaceful is something that must be built into your daily routine to ensure you’re always working at 100%.

The key to being a productive homeschool mom is all about knowing your limits, setting priorities, being okay with saying no, and always taking care of yourself. When you follow each of the tips I shared above you’ll find that you feel amazing and get more done within just two weeks of practicing these tips to be a more productive homeschool mom.

5 Reasons Self Care Is Important

When was the last time you thought about yourself instead of others? Many people put others before themselves too often, causing them to feel drained, stressed, and mentally unwell. If you’re asking, “Why is self care important?” it’s because taking care of yourself will make you mentally and physically healthier over time.

You’re Taking Care of Your Mental and Emotional Health

Self-care is essential because it allows you to take care of your mental and emotional health. While there is nothing wrong with helping others and taking care of them when you need to, you also need to put yourself first.

When you’re not taking care of yourself, your mental and emotional health can rapidly decline. You can turn into a person you don’t even recognize because you’re neglecting yourself and failing to do anything that makes you feel good.

You Can Relieve a Lot of Unwanted Stress

Many self-care activities are ideal for relieving unwanted stress. No matter your reason for feeling stressed, you can start to feel better when taking better care of yourself. Some ideas for self-care activities that will relieve stress include doing yoga, going for a hike in a beautiful park, reading a good book, and even exercising.

If you’d like to stop thinking about everything that could go wrong and start focusing on the positive, it’s necessary to begin completing self-care activities.

You’re Giving Yourself Time to Relax

When was the last time you truly got to relax? If you’re constantly running around and doing things, you’re not giving yourself a break. You might go from one thing to the next. For example, you may find yourself working for several hours, picking the kids up from school, and then heading home to cook dinner. When did you take at least 10-15 minutes for yourself?

Even if you’re pressed for time, spending five minutes meditating can make a huge difference. It will put your mind at ease and help you calm down, even on the most stressful days.

It Can Restore Your Energy When You’re Feeling Drained

When you’re feeling drained, self-care activities can give you the energy you need. After a long day of doing different things, nothing will feel as good as soaking in a hot tub with bubbles and Epsom salts.

It will feel good to soak in hot water, but you can also meditate while you’re in the water or read a good book without any distractions. After doing something like this, you’ll notice how good it makes you feel.

Self Care Leaves You in a Positive Mood

Many people ask the question, “Why is self care important?” It’s one thing you can do to put yourself in a positive mood. You’re going to have bad days sometimes. You’re going to go through different things that can stress you out at times.

However, if you’re taking care of yourself by completing various self-care activities, you’re going to feel more optimistic naturally.

Now you know the answer to the question, “Why is self care important?” What do you plan on doing for yourself first? Even the most minor things can leave you feeling better, such as a few minutes of meditation each day.

7 Types of Meditation and How to Practice Them

Meditation is an essential practice to incorporate into your daily routine. Not only does it promote positive thinking, but it contributes to your general well-being as well. There are seven types of meditation:

Mindfulness meditation

Mindfulness meditation encourages people to be aware of their surroundings and to be present at the moment. It can be done anywhere and at any time. You can do it even when you are brushing your teeth by being present at the moment, rather than thinking about things like what you’re going to wear that day.

Loving-kindness Meditation

Loving-kindness meditation instills a sense of kindness in meditators. During this type of meditation, people send kind messages to their loved ones such as their friends, family, etc.

Progressive relaxation

Progressive relaxation involves scanning the body for tension and then relieving it. Starting at the feet and moving upwards, search your body for tension or stress. Tense your muscles and relax them.

Breath awareness meditation

Breath awareness meditation revolves around mindful breathing. Just like mindfulness meditation, you are supposed to avoid thinking about other things such as your chores for the day and are supposed to count your breaths.

Zen meditation

This type of meditation involves focusing on your breaths and observing your thoughts. Zen meditation was a part of the Buddhist practice and, you should seek the guidance of a teacher for this one. People looking to take a more spiritual path may practice this form of meditation.

Kundalini Yoga

This type of mediation is a combination of movement, breathing, and mantras. Although, commonly, it is taught by a professional because it encompasses various poses and movements. But, you can learn some poses at home from YouTube.

Transcendental meditation

During this type of meditation, the goal is to rise above one’s current state of being. The practitioners find a comfortable spot to sit and breathe slowly. Usually, it is learned from a teacher and involves some mantras too. The teacher determines the mantras.

Practice gratitude

Rather than thinking about what you don’t have, think about what you do have. Practice gratitude for the people who love you, friends who support you. Practice gratitude for having a roof over your head, food to eat, and a comfy bed to sleep in. Gratitude journals are a great idea as well. Make it your daily habit to write seven things you’re grateful for.

Start your day on a positive note.

When your day starts on a wrong note, you remain in a bad mood throughout the day. Therefore, you must begin the day on a positive note. One good practice is to smile at yourself in the mirror. That helps uplift your mood in the morning.

Search for the silver lining

Every cloud has a silver lining. But we humans tend to dwell on the darkness that the cloud brings rather than looking for the silver lining. There is a positive side to everything. So if your coffee didn’t turn out so good this morning rather than being moody, how about you stop by your nearest Starbucks? See? silver lining!

Rearrange your perspective

For staying positive, you must change your perspective of looking at things. One rule of thumb is to replace “I have to” with “I get to.” So rather than thinking, “I have to go to work today,” think: “I GET TO go to work today.”

Create a positive environment

Surround yourself with positive people who don’t search for the negative in everything. Positive people give off a positive vibe that won’t bring down your energy like a person in a bad mood would.

How to Improve Yourself Every Day

Would you like to start improving yourself every day? It might sound like a challenging thing to do, but small changes add up and make such a difference over the weeks and months. If you’re focused on being a better person and taking better care of yourself, you can become the person you’ve always wanted to be. Learning how to improve yourself every day can help build your self esteem!

Start Each Day Being Grateful for What You Have

When you get up in the morning, try to be as grateful as possible for the things you have. Sure, you might not have everything you want in life, but you have a lot. If you appreciate what you have, you’ll never feel the need to compare yourself to what others have.

It isn’t a competition to see who has the most or is doing the best in life. You’re on a journey of your own. No matter what you believe in, you can wake up and say, “I’m grateful for my family, friends, the roof over my head, my job, and more.”

Eat Healthier to Feel Better on the Inside

Try to get in the habit of eating healthier. When you eat healthy foods, you’re giving your body much-need vitamins and nutrients, but you’re also avoiding foods that can make you feel sick. It’s not uncommon for fast food and junk food to leave people feeling sluggish.

It doesn’t mean you can’t have fast food or junk food here and there. Instead, you should have it in moderation. Continue eating healthy to feel better on the inside. When you feel better on the inside, it’ll show on the outside! Even doing something as small as eating healthier every day can help build your self esteem!

Find a New Hobby to Keep Yourself Occupied

Look for a new hobby to get into. It doesn’t matter what you choose to do, as long as it’s something that interests you. For example, you may want to start painting on blank canvases, creating beautiful artwork.

If you’re not the artistic type, you can start working out or learning how to dance. A new hobby keeps you entertained and busy. You’ll spend less time worrying about social media and what others are doing when you have a hobby to look forward to. This is a part of my self growth plan right now!

Say Positive Things to Yourself and Others Around You

Try to remain as positive as possible. Say positive things to yourself, along with the people around you, such as your children, spouse, and friends. Indeed, people are often harder on themselves, saying hurtful things about their appearance, mind, and more.

Imagine how good it can feel to stay saying nice things to yourself. Look in the mirror and say, “I’m beautiful. I’m strong. I’m going to have a great day.” These positive affirmations may sound silly to do at first, but you’ll quickly see the positive impact they will have on you.

If you want to improve yourself every day, get up in the morning with such a positive mindset. Find a new hobby to participate in as often as you can. Make some dietary changes to ensure you’re feeling your best. The small changes will lead to a vast improvement, leaving you more confident than ever. Bettering yourself is never a bad thing! Use these tips to help you learn how to improve yourself every day.

12 Amazing Ideas for Self Improvement

Most people have a misconception of self-improvement being associated with the millennial age only. In reality, self-improvement is not limited to any age at all; it’s about constantly growing, exploring life to live in a more fulfilled and happier manner. It’s a path that paves the way towards betterment and discovering the potential you hold.

And no matter what age you’re at, one should always try to bring out the best in him. That’s what’s self-improvement is all about. If you haven’t given it as much thought, here are the top 12 ideas for self-improvement that can help you shine through and through.

If you’re someone who advocates self-improvement just as strongly as I do, you’d agree that travel is the ultimate way towards betterment. Visiting new countries, mixing with new people, exploring new cultures is a thrill on its own.

You get to understand how different the world works, which allows you to develop a distinct perspective. It’s not just about the places you visit but the challenges that you get to overcome.

With an experience of its own, you get to expand your horizons and expose a part of yourself that you never knew existed. This is what manifests the concept of a growth mindset which is the most significant factor in self-improvement.

Exercise has to be one of the most beneficial acts for your health and wellbeing. It can help regulate your mood, boost your energy levels, assist in better sleep, prevent chronic diseases, and so much more.

With the variety of benefits that it can reap for you, there hardly remains a doubt on it not being able to play a role in self-improvement.

No matter how bad a day you have, a few minutes of exercise can immediately make you feel better. And exercising doesn’t mean a hardcore session of sweats but anything that allows your body to remain physically active. It can be as simple as going for a walk with your dog or swimming.

Learn a New Skill

Do you feel like you’re too old to pick up a new hobby? That’s the part of growth; you’re never too old to do something new in life. This is what opens the opportunity for growth of mindset, as your brain gets to learn something different, something unique.

Try whatever you’ve always been fascinated by. It can be as small as learning to play the piano or cycling. It’s just a feeling of enjoyment and fulfillment, which is divine.

Explore a New Language

Exploring a new language is one of the best ideas for self-improvement. Just like travelling, learning a new language can give you better insights into a new culture and its way of communicating.

It’s not just a skill that you’ll hold for life but will open more opportunities for traveling. Other than that, learning a language is a job that requires patience, perseverance, and devotion.

You’ll learn a language and develop many other qualities in your personality. There’s nothing better than that.

Instead of spending time watching TV or streaming Netflix, shift towards enhancing your reading capacity. The more you read, the more your mind will open to learning. It is by far one of the most effective ways of self-improvement.

Growth vs fixed mindset is a difference that can change your entire life for you. People who choose to remain stagnant all their lives don’t even know what it feels like to ascend in life.

They are prone to staying in their limited confines of thoughts while people who choose the path of growth savor the perks of expanse.

Reading allows you to extend your range of understanding and knowledge, which improves you as a human being.

Break Out of Your Comfort Zone

Most of us are primarily scared of facing challenges or situations that we haven’t encountered before. Without stepping out of our comfort zones, it’s hardly possible for us to experience something new within us.

It liberates us from our boundaries and aids in perceiving the difference between growth vs fixed mindset. Breaking your chain of ease is one of the greatest ideas for self-improvement.

Exterminate Toxicity

Living in a negative environment with toxic people has adverse effects on your mind and, eventually, your health. While negative people are bound to exist no matter where you go, try not to be in such an environment for a longer time.

Toxicity is one of the deadliest elements that take you down, so make sure you avoid it as much as you can.

Leave a Bad Habit Behind

We all have our shares of bad habits. Evaluate yours and determine yourself to quit them from today. It can be smoking, drinking, procrastinating, or anything that you know is unhealthy. Break the loop and replace them with some good ones.

There’d be hardly anyone out there who’d tell you meditation doesn’t help. It soothes you, improves your mental health, allows you to be more productive, and exhibit kindness during the day. When you are calmer on the inside, it’ll reflect on the outside.

When trying to improve yourself, meditation has to be a must. It helps you distinguish between growth vs fixed mindset with its unlimited boons.

For a growth mindset, counseling can be a fantastic technique to help you improve. Therapy is not only for people who feel that their life is on the brink of falling apart but for everyone.

The Pros and Cons of Quitting Social Media

Some people aren’t bothered by social media. They can spend hours on social media and never feel overwhelmed, stressed, or out of sorts. Other people may feel overwhelmed, stressed out, and see a decline in their mental health within an hour of being on social media.

If you’re someone who is experiencing negative emotions from the prolonged use of social media then you may want to continue reading. Today I’m sharing some of the pros and cons of quitting social media so that you can choose to live happier and healthier with fewer online engagements.

Cons of Quitting Social Media

Below are just some of the disadvantages that you experience when you quit social media or commit to a short-term social media detox.

Increased Fear of Missing Out (FOMO)

No matter how hard you try, it seems social media is the place that friends and family post their latest news. You can try to stay in touch with long-distance connections via phone calls or text messages, but the news will be few and far between.

This means you’ll have to get comfortable with embracing the concept that you may not hear about a birth announcement, engagement, or something news from those who live further away when you quit social media.

Fewer Networking Opportunities

If you run a business or most of your networking requires marketing on the internet for your business, and you decide to quit social media, then you may have fewer networking opportunities. You’ll have to resort to different methods of engagement and advertising for your business.

This means you’ll miss out on the instant reward that networking for business on social media provides. You can gain business through other outlets, but social media has begun to take over the major parts of business networking and advertising as of late.

Pros of Quitting Social Media

There are a few pros of quitting social media that may just entice you to complete a social media detox or quit it altogether.

Get Better Sleep

Most of us spend far too many hours on our cell phones. You probably look at your phone before you go to bed. The phone is probably the first thing you look at when you wake up. This addiction to screens and social media has disrupted our natural sleep patterns. Don’t forget to grab your CBD Pillow – Add to Cart to maximum sleep while detoxing from social media.

When you quit social media you’ll have fewer reasons to peek at your cell phone before bed. This means your eyes and brain will be relaxed, ready to slip into a deep slumber when you quit social media!

Start to Feel More Confident

Whether you realize it, or not, social media plays a toll on our self-esteem. When you share something on social media and receive little to no reactions or comments, you may start to feel like you don’t matter. This can destroy your self-confidence one little piece at a time until you start to feel irrelevant.

Quitting social media will provide you with a chance to feel more confident. You’ll be enjoying your real life outside of the internet and engaging in real-life connections that boost your self-confidence higher than any social media post would do.

How to Quit Social Media

As a freelance writer and entrepreneur, social media is a huge part of my business world. Quitting social media for good is not a reasonable option for me. I can, however, quit social media for “fun”. I’ve started to slowly refrain from sharing too much of my personal life on social media and limited the time I spend scrolling the newsfeeds.

Removing the apps from your smartphone will be a great start to detoxing yourself from social media. You may eventually quit social media for good on the personal side and only post on your business page once you see all of the benefits that come from quitting social media.

If you’re uncertain about quitting social media for good, I invite you to take just two weeks off from the internet as a whole. Schedule your work out. Schedule the social media updates for your business. Uninstall the social media apps from your phone and make a schedule of things to do during this two-week social media detox.

Write down how you feel at the start, middle, and end of this time quitting social media. Evaluate how you feel and determine if quitting social media is something that makes sense for you. If you feel that your time away from social media has improved your mental health and relationship with the people closest to you, then perhaps it’s time to consider quitting social media for good.
